1 Timothy 1:5   The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

 

 

Set: 

Hockey Chat:  A goal on a break away is a sweet play to watch. But even better is when the team works together and through a series of good moves and great passes they get a goal.  When all these elements fall into place it makes for a truly good play and tough puck for the goalie to stop.  A half-hearted toss at the net is no real challenge for the goaltender.

Go: 

Life Lesson:  It’s all to simple to say “I love you, man” like some beer commercial.  To achieve the real goal of brotherly love means having the heart, conscience, and faith to back up the words.  Saying that we love God is saying that we are working towards being pure, good, and sincere through His Son, Jesus.  In saying that you love whomever, make sure your morals and motives back up your mouth.
