Isaiah 48:17

This is what the LORD says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

Set:

Hockey Chat: Martin Brodeur was a one great forward of his young age, skating hard and scoring goals.  Those of you that know Marty as the goaltender from the New Jersey Devils think I’ve got the wrong guy, but not at all.  He started skating when he was 3 years old and played to put pucks in the net.  He was a forward for the early years of his hockey days.  That all changed one day when he was 6 and the goal tender for his team didn’t show up for a game.  Coach asked told him to get in net and he’s been stopping goals ever since.

Go:

Life Lesson:  Sometimes it seems that we are on the smooth path of life.  And then we get a little nudge.  If ignored it becomes a bigger bump.  When you are in a relationship with God and he wants you to do something, he lets you know.  Often times it’s something we aren’t that excited to jump into.  It may seem a little scary and confusing, as new unknown paths are. But the Lord knows what is best for us.  He directs our paths to lead us to greatness.  Speak to him and trust in him, he will direct you to where you need to be to grow yourself and to further his kingdom.
