    • Have you ever felt like your life is so messed up that you have blown your chance with God?  Explain.

    • Christ does not love us based on our performance, but what He did at the cross for us.  Have you ever struggled with feeling that you’re not doing enough for God?  Why do you feel that way?

    • In the Christian faith, the cross symbolizes everything we believe.  What does the cross of Christ mean to you?

    • Living the dream as a professional athlete, he made baseball his god. What is god in your life right now? How did it get that way?
    • How do we get so wrapped up in living for ourselves and not for God?
    • Read Isaiah 44:6. How do you need to put this verse into practice in your life?
    • Brian confessed to making poor decisions. When you find yourself in that place, how do you get yourself out of it? Where does God fit into that equation?
    • What areas of your life are you putting before you relationship with God?

    5. From what you read, what are the limits of Ruth’s loyalty?

    • Luke went through a major brain surgery in middle school and lost his vision, but it did not hold him back.  How would you respond to such a circumstance in your life? Where would you draw your strength from?

    • Luke’s wrestling coach mentioned that no one want to practice against him because he always goes all out. Is that how you practice?  What can you learn from Luke’s example?
